Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Nubo Baby Tracker (iOS and Android) mobile application (referred to as Nubo app or app) and the Nubo device developed by Clicksie LLC. We respect your privacy and protect your data.

1. You don’t have to log in to use the Nubo app, unless you want to collaborate with other caregivers or backup and restore your data. The information you give us about your baby (name, date of birth, picture), which we call Baby Profile, and all the activities you log, which we call Baby Logs, are stored on your mobile device in a safe and encrypted way.
2. When you log in, we don’t store any usernames or passwords. Login information is provided by third party services, like Apple (on iOS) and Google (on Android). We store the secure anonymous login information they give us on our servers to identify you. Please check out their privacy policies: Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google.
3. Even when you log into the app, the Baby Profile and Baby Logs are stored on your mobile device and not on our servers. If you want to back up the Baby Profile and Baby Logs, then we store an encrypted version on your personal iCloud (if Signed in with Apple) or Google Drive (if signed in with Google).
4. When you add another caregiver as a collaborator, you agree to share the Baby Profile and Baby Logs with them. Each caregiver has their own copy of Baby Profile and Baby Logs on their mobile device. When a caregiver enters, deletes or updates the Baby Logs, then only the changes are sent to other caregivers via our servers in an encrypted way that we can’t read. These changes stay on our servers only until they reach all the collaborators.
5. We don’t share any details about Baby Profiles or Baby Logs with third-party providers.
6. You can delete Baby Profile and Baby Logs anytime, which deletes all data from your mobile device and iCloud or Google Drive.
7. We collect anonymous usage data about how well the app works and what features you use. This helps us make the app better. We don’t collect any user or child data that can identify you.
8. The app needs the following permissions on your mobile to function properly.
   Camera Permission: The camera is used to capture photos for the profile picture or to scan QR codes for establishing caregivers. Camera is only activated when you use these features.
   Location Permission: The app requires the location permission to scan the nearby Nubo devices. The app does not collect, store or track user location.
   Background Location Permission: The app requires the background location permission to keep Nubo device always connected phone. The app does not collect, store or track user location.
   Read External Storage Permission: The app requires the storage permission to select the photos from the phone to use as profile picture.
